Want to know how it was done?
The goal of this project was to create an educational app for a school astronomy course. Already at the start of the project, we realized that open space is very different from our usual environment, so we decided to develop a course in virtual reality.
We chose the solar system as the location, and we paid special attention to the working out of the planet Earth. In addition to the natural satellite, the ISS and other artificial satellites and objects launched at different times can be found in its orbit.
The project turned out to be realistic and colorful because pupils will learn from it.
The project consultant was the master of astrometry and celestial mechanics of UrFU.
