Want to know how it was done?
The goal of this project was to create a training application for the school course in Solid geometry. Even before the start of the project, it became clear that the course of stereometry is difficult for pupils to understand, and its successful development requires a good knowledge of geometry and developed spatial thinking.
The application collects not the entire course of Solid geometry, the focus is on the topic of polyhedra and their types, sectioning, etc. In development, we tried to use clear and visual examples from life, widely used animation for better understanding and assimilation of the material.
Due to the fact that the course is made in virtual reality, it has a lot of interactive tasks related to interaction with objects and shapes. We actively used light and shadows to explain the projections.
To implement such a complex project, we have attracted experts in the field of school education, so all classes of the course are coordinated with the main school educational program.
