The work of mounters and electricians is often associated with the need to climb to a height, so we decided to demonstrate the correct lifting technique using a safety harness in virtual reality.
Our virtual simulator works in two modes — training and exam. In the training mode, the employee under the strict supervision of a virtual assistant passes the necessary stages of safe ascent to a height, and in the exam mode, the student independently performs the necessary actions without prompting. If the task is completed incorrectly, the student falls down the stairs and falls.
In this project, we deliberately went to such a tough demonstration that everyone felt that safety should not be neglected, and deviations from the requirements of labor protection end in failure.
It is better if a person learns this in virtual reality, in a safe classroom.
